Tim Drake was born into a wealthy family in Gotham City. His parents were both lawyers and they instilled in him a strong sense of justice and morality from a young age. When he was just eight years old, Tim witnessed the murder of his neighbor's family and was inspired to become a vigilante like Batman. He trained himself in various martial arts and became an expert in detective work.
